Tokens are the units of text processed by the AI model. Every prompt you submit and every line of code generated consumes tokens — a larger, more complex build consumes more than a simple landing page. The usage shown in your account is measured from the AI provider's real token counts, not an estimate.
Yes, on the Pro and Enterprise plans — add your own AI provider key in your workspace settings. When you bring your own key, generation is billed directly to your provider account instead of drawing down your Snapder monthly token quota.
Generation pauses until your quota resets next month, unless you have bonus tokens (for example from the referral program) or upgrade your plan. On a paid plan you can also plug in your own API key to keep building immediately.
Clicking Upgrade takes you to Stripe's secure checkout. Your subscription activates automatically once payment goes through, and you can manage or cancel it any time from Account → Billing.
