Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Snapder collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We try to collect only what we need to run the service.

1. Who we are

Snapder (“we”, “us”) is operated by Zetage Technologies LLC, 30 North Gould Street, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. You can reach us at support@snapder.com for anything in this policy.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information. Your email address and, if you sign in through a third-party provider, the name and profile picture it shares. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form — we never see it.
  • What you create. Your prompts, the code and designs Snapder generates for you, which AI model was used, and how many tokens and how much time it took. These are stored on our servers, linked to your account, so we can show your history, enforce plan limits, troubleshoot problems, and prevent abuse. Our team may look at them for those purposes. Sites you publish are public at their web address (and at any custom domain you connect).
  • Billing. Payments are handled by Stripe. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan and its status. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Support messages. If you contact us through the chat widget, we keep your name, email address and message.
  • Usage analytics. We measure visits to our own website: which pages are viewed, whether someone clicks Upgrade or starts a checkout, the website they came from (domain only), and their country (provided by our hosting provider). Each browser gets a random visitor ID stored in a cookie so we can count unique visitors. We do not store IP addresses in our analytics, and we do not fingerprint devices. If you are signed in, these events are linked to your account. We honour “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control, and you can switch analytics off on our Cookie Policy page.
  • Free use without an account. Visitors who are not signed in can try Snapder a few times for free. To enforce that limit fairly, we keep a counter tied to a random ID in a cookie on your browser and to a keyed one-way hash of your IP address (we cannot turn the hash back into your IP address, and we do not store the address itself). We use this only to prevent abuse of the free allowance, and we delete counters that have been inactive for 60 days.
  • Referrals. If you take part in our referral program we keep your personal referral code, who referred you or whom you referred, the status of each referral, and the bonus tokens granted. To stop people referring themselves, we compare a fingerprint of the payment card used (an identifier provided by Stripe — never the card number) between the two accounts.
  • Data kept in your browser. Workspaces, chat history, preferences and — if you choose to add your own AI provider keys — those keys are kept in your browser’s local storage on your device.

3. How we use it

To provide and secure the service; to generate what you ask for; to take payments and manage subscriptions; to answer support requests; to understand how the site is used and fix what is not working; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run Snapder. They may process your information only to provide their service to us:

  • Supabase — database and sign-in.
  • Vercel — website hosting.
  • Stripe — payments.
  • AI providers — to generate code, your prompt and the surrounding project context are sent to an AI model provider. By default that is DeepSeek and SiliconFlow (companies based in China that may process this data in China). If you choose a premium model in the workspace, your prompt goes to Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Gemini) instead, companies based in the United States. If you add your own key for OpenAI, Anthropic or Google, requests for that provider go there using your key. Your own keys travel through our servers with each request so we can pass them on; we do not store them. These providers handle data under their own privacy policies.
  • Unsplash and Pexels — to give generated sites real photos, we send short search keywords taken from your prompt. Generated sites link directly to photos hosted by these services.
  • Google — Google Fonts (your browser contacts Google to load fonts, which reveals your IP address to Google).
  • Expo — used to preview mobile app projects.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.

5. Cookies and local storage

The cookies and browser storage we use, and how to control them, are listed on the Cookie Policy page.

6. International transfers

Snapder and its providers operate in several countries, including the United States and China (for our AI providers). Your information may be processed outside the country where you live. We rely on our providers’ contractual and technical safeguards for these transfers.

7. How long we keep it

Account information, generations and published sites are kept while your account is active, and until you ask us to delete them. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Support messages and analytics events are kept for as long as they are useful for the purposes above and are then deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to or ask us to limit some processing. Email support@snapder.com from the email address on your account and we will respond within 30 days.

Important: the “Delete Account” button in your settings clears the data kept in your browser only. To have your account and the information stored on our servers deleted, email us.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in South Korea, you have the rights to access, correct, delete and suspend processing of your personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we collect and to request deletion; we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

9. Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Generated previews run in sandboxed frames. Payment data stays with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Snapder is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date above; if the change is significant, we will also tell you on the site or by email.
